What I want to cover in this review is who is Terrasoul Superfoods, why use Terrasoul acai powder, What is Terrasoul’s philosophy, what I like, and what I dislike.

Who is Terrasoul Superfoods

Like most of us, you may not have heard of Terrasoul. They do not run big ads on TV with overpaid celebrities endorsing their products. This is a simple family-started business that chose to invest in its products and not all the hype that surrounds similar big-name products.

Terrasoul Superfoods was founded in 2013 by Amy and Dennis Botts in Texas. They began their journey in health to inspire others. Their passion led them to create high-quality superfoods that anyone can benefit from.

Terrasoul provides a wide range of quality products, but in this review, I will only be discussing acai powder.

This way I can provide you with as much information as I can on this one product. I will write reviews on other Terrasoul products sometime in the future.

What is Terrasoul’s Philosophy

Terrasoul operates on a fair-trade model and seeks to offer opportunities to everyone in its supply chain. They work directly with farmers, co-ops, and manufacturers to offer their customers efficient access to organic products.

They currently source over 70 ingredients from 23 countries.

Their slogan is simple but meaningful “We sell the foods we know and love”. To me, this means that they believe in and use their own products.

A lot of companies do not use what they make, they simply are in it for the money and not necessarily passionate as to what is truly best for their customers.

Personally, I would rather deal with smaller businesses, they seem to take care of their customers better than large corporations as I have found out from personal experiences.

This is why I tend to focus more on smaller family-type companies than larger corporate products.

Why use Terrasoul Acai Powder

The acai powder is sourced from the Amazonian rainforests of Brazil.

Their acai berries are frozen immediately after harvesting, then freeze-dried in the US to retain the berry’s potent nutrients.

Acai is loaded with antioxidants, fatty acids, and other vital nutrients.

Terrasoul has chosen to include the pulp in their powder. This has a slight brownish tint and is not the deep purple color of other brands. They have decided to do this since the pulp is an excellent source of omega 3.

The powder does not require refrigeration after it is opened. To maintain freshness, make sure the bag is zipped closed completely. I have heard that a mason jar is a great way to store the powder as well. This would provide an airtight seal to maintain freshness.

What I do not like

• There are several complaints of people having issues with the packing and affected the quality of the product. Terrasoul is changing their packing.
• The color is not as deep or as purple that some people want.
• If you want a smoother drink, you need a high-speed blender such as a Vitamix or Ninja due to the grainy texture. (I personally have a few Ninja products and love them)

Conclusion

There are many health benefits to adding acai to your diet. It does not take much of this nutrient-packed product per day to benefit from. Terrasoul has a great company philosophy and high-quality products.

They source their ingredients in accordance with fair-trade standards. Since the product is priced right, it is definitely worth a try. When my other acai powder runs low, I will order this one and try it for myself.

This may be the first product that I have given a 9 out of 10 without trying. With almost 800 reviews, most of which are very favorable as to quality, freshness, and effectiveness. The price in my mind also helps.

I have decided that based on these reasons, they justify the rating. This could change after I try it in a couple of weeks.
