I’m actually really familiar with supergreens as I used to work a juice bar. Wheatgrass is such a strange one. You really don’t want to drink more than a few ounces at a time otherwise you’ll be dealing with a queasy stomach like I did when I drank 4 ounces.
I really love spirulina and keep some stocked at home. It works really well in smoothies and in soap. I’m not sure if you absorb any of the benefits through the skin though. But I have customers with psoriasis swear by my soap with spirulina so maybe there is something to it.

You are correct, Wheatgrass if taken too much can affect some people that way, but as long as you follow the manufacture’s instructions, you should be fine. Spirulina is a very good one also. I am currently using Bio Green, which contains both of these.
Spirulina soap is a good idea and I have heard that people with irritated skin have benefited from this. You can check out some of them on Amazon here.

A really interesting read and I will take a look at the bio green. Supergreens certainly offer fantastic benefits for your health. We are in a world where there are an awful lot of fast foods and processed foods, we need to look at the super greens and eating more veg, to keep up us in a healthier shape.

Yes, we have too much easy access to fast foods these days. I don’t eat much fast food anymore, just once in a while. I do like using Bio Green, especially since it is like eating 4 servings of vegetables in each serving. I like the taste now, at first it seemed a little odd, but I grew to like it. When I was first transitioning to being vegetarian, I read loads of articles talking about supergreens and the benefits of them but none do as great of a job as this at laying it out simply and easily. For you, what is your favorite supergreen and healthy meal to go along with it?

I like Bio Energy Greens that I found on Tony Robbins site. I really like the taste and usually drink this between breakfast and lunch. It helps to keep my energy up and I always feel a lot better after drinking this.
There are some other good ones out there, but so far the Bio Energy Greens is the best that I have found.

what are the other most common edible forms of supergreens besides juices? I’ve never tried one but they don’t seem super appetizing and I want to give supergreens a shot as I’ve heard so much about them and clearly have been starting a little research as I ended up here
You can always eat a fresh salad loaded with various greens, but I have tried the one I like best in different recipes. Add to a smoothie, sprinkle a little on Mac N Cheese, or anywhere you want to add some more veggie to a meal or snack.
The super green mix I like the best is Bio Greens, which is promoted by Tony Robbins.
